This policy explains how Escendant Ltd uses cookies and similar technologies on our website and app. We follow the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) and UK GDPR.

What We Use

We aim to use the minimum necessary technologies and avoid tracking.

Our App

  • We use Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics to understand app usage and improve performance and reliability. These do not use cookies but rely on app instance identifiers and device signals.
  • The app stores strictly necessary configuration data on your device to operate (for example, authentication tokens or preferences stored securely by the OS). These are not used for advertising.
  • Data collected for analytics is pseudonymous. We configure Firebase to avoid precise location and advertising identifiers and to truncate IP addresses where possible. You can opt out of analytics at any time in your device or in‑app settings, and we will honour such opt‑outs promptly.

Our Website

  • Strictly necessary cookies (no consent required) to operate the site, for example to keep you signed in, route requests, provide security, and remember your cookie choices.
  • Analytics cookies (consent‑based): We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors use our site so we can improve performance and content. GA4 cookies are only set if you opt in. We configure GA4 to anonymise IP addresses and we do not use Google signals or advertising features.
  • HubSpot cookies (consent‑based): We use HubSpot for website forms and related engagement. HubSpot may set cookies to recognise returning visitors and associate form submissions with prior site activity. These cookies are only set if you opt in.

We use a cookie consent banner that lets you opt in or out of non‑essential cookies at any time. Non‑essential cookies will not be set until you give consent.

  • Strictly necessary (always on): required for core site functionality.
  • Analytics (optional, consent): help us measure usage and improve the site.
  • Functional (optional, consent): support enhanced features like remembering inputs across pages (e.g., HubSpot forms context).

Legal basis: Under UK PECR, we only set non‑essential cookies (analytics/functional) with your consent. You can withdraw consent at any time via the controls above.
